Twitter is Testing Tweet Stories In Brazil – Twitter Stories Called Fleet
Twitter is testing decided to test its own version of stories in Brazil and it will be called fleet. The microblogging social media company announced it will begin to trial a new sharing called “Fleets,” which will start in Brazil, It will let users post ephemeral content to its social network for the first time. Well, you won’t be able to interact with fleet like Tweets, as the new Feature can’t receive Likes, Replies nor Retweets. Lastly, they work like your WhatsApp Status as it will disappear after 24hours. Yes, It will stay at the top of the field just like Snapchat and I’m so sure you can’t wait to use it either.
Fleets are a bit different from the way it will work as people can come to your profile and view your fleet without even following you. It’s not aimed to circulate around the web as it can’t be embedded on external sites.
Twitter might be the last to try out stories like Facebook, Whatsapp,Youtube and others have tried to bring new interphase to social media but we definitely will be in for a fun-packed experience . It all became popular with Snapchat, you can now find a version of Stories across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and others.
Fleets is quite different as it is meant to address one of the primary reasons why users don’t tweet: A large population of users feels uncomfortable with Twitter’s public nature. As a measure, Twitter said at CES in January it would soon test new controls for determining the audience for Tweets — like public, followers only, and so on. But those tests haven’t yet begun, we understand.
Fleets, meanwhile, showcase a simpler and more familiar elucidation.
Brazil will host the test, The testers will see rounded profile icons at the top corner of their Timeline on Twitter’s mobile app. This will be immediately acknowledgeable as a Stories feature. The first icon will always a little thought bubble that signifies your own profile photo. Users will just click the “+” button to compose their Fleet.
After the launch, consumers will be able to post videos up to 2 minutes and 20 seconds in length or 512mb anyone that comes first. Whitelisted publishers will be able to publish videos with a longer duration as much as 10 minutes in length.
Users will be able to post multiple fleets so that it can be viewed while just swiping.
Here is why fleet is different and might end up as something cumbersome. In a case of multiple fleets, users will have to swipe down unlike advancing through other fleets horizontally with taps on the sides of the screen. However, to move to the next user’s Fleet, you swipe to the left.
Twitter strongly believes users’ feedback could cause a change.
Although Fleets won’t move through Twitter’s network the way that Tweets can, viewers can interact with users via their fleet, If the poster allows DMs (direct messages), you can reply to the Fleet privately. You’ll also be able to react to a Fleet with an emoji, similar to how Stories work on other social networks.
