In a blog post, the popular messaging app Telegram outlines a series of new updates to its app, the most important of which is “Group Video Call 2.0”, where video calls of up to 30 participants can broadcast their cameras and Screen, up to 1000 viewers. Telegram easily joked that this limit will increase until “all humans on the planet can join a group call.”
The video message has been updated to 2.0. This means that those circular press and hold video messages now have a higher resolution, and you can tap the message to expand the circular video. You can also pause and browse video messages. You can also record voice messages now, and your background audio will not be paused.
Now you can watch videos sent via Telegram at 0.5X, 1.5X or 2.0X speed. Android will also support 0.2X speed.
Telegram one-to-one video calls now allow you to share your screen via audio, and there is a new automatic deletion interval to delete messages after one month.
You can now draw more accurately on images before sending them to friends or groups.
There are now more animations in the password screen, and the messages you add to the chat will also be animated in a new way on the Android app. The new password reset option that has been added to the application settings will help users recover if they do not recover the password, get the password within 7 days.
Finally, there are new animated emojis, including dancing emojis, fists, broken hearts, and sad emojis. The iOS app is also integrated with the camera app on iOS, so you can switch to a zoom or wide-angle camera when taking pictures directly on the Telegram app.
