Nord is a huge success for OnePlus, so now the company’s goal is to build on this formula OnePlus North CE 5G. It stands for Core Edition because this phone is designed to provide most of the same experience at a lower price. It even made some upgrades to its so-called higher-quality siblings.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G is equipped with Snapdragon 750G chipset, 6.43-inch 1080p AMOLED and 90Hz refresh rate, and OnePlus OxygenOS based on Android 11.
A major focus of Nord CE 5G is design and manufacturing. OnePlus claims that this phone is the thinnest OnePlus phone since the 6T, with a thickness of only 7.9 mm. Enthusiasts are happy that OnePlus Nord CE 5G retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Physically speaking, Nord CE 5G looks very similar to its predecessor and maintains the same overall shape. The display screen has shrunk by 0.1 inches, but this change is basically the same.
The 64MP f/1.8 main camera can combine 4 pixels into 1 pixel to obtain a resolution of 16MP 1.4μm. There is also an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.
Compared with the original OnePlus Nord 5G, one of the biggest improvements is the battery. It now has a capacity of 4,500mAh, which is higher than the original Nord’s 4,115mAh, but its 30W Dash 30T+ charge can still charge 70% of it in 30 minutes.
Nord CE 5G will be available in the Asian and European markets in three configurations-6/128GB, 22,999 INR//299 Euro, 8/128GB, 24,999 INR/329 EUR/299 GBP, and top 12/256GB 27,999 INR/399 EUR/369 GBP. Buyers can choose charcoal ink, silver light and lovely blue void.
