How to set up your Facebook Profile
The first thing you do after creating your Facebook account is to add a profile picture. This will make your conversations between friends and family easier.
The truth is Facebook is nothing if you don’t have friends and family to share with. You can take out your time and search for people by their name or email, import your contact lists, and invite friends that aren’t currently using Facebook.
And when you find someone that you want to add, send a friend invite. If they accept your invitation, that person will be added to your Friends list. Simple.
Before enjoying your newsfeed or updating on your timeline, take some time to set up your privacy settings to prevent the wrong people from seeing what you post.
Always, focus on what you value and determine whether or not Facebook delivers something to you that lines up with those values.
The fact is, Facebook isn’t for everyone, but it’s certainly not a useless tool. When you used Facebook for the right reasons, it can be an amazing platform used to connect with others, discover new things and educate yourself about various topics.
