Gionee launched a new smart watch for India-StylFit GSW7. It has a round body, which is different from the rectangular GSW5 and is smaller than the Gionee Watch 4. It runs a proprietary software called Gbuddy and can talk to the corresponding Gbuddy Smart Life app for Android (5.1+) and iOS (9.0+).
The watch is equipped with a 1.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. Unfortunately, the screen is covered with ordinary glass. The size of this watch is 50 x 45 mm, which is very light and thin, weighing only 9.6 mm and 35 grams respectively.
The watch can track your heart rate 24/7, and also provides a pedometer and sleep tracker (the latter will report your sleep quality). There is also an oximeter (SpO2) on board, although it is often excluded by watches in this price range.
According to Gionee, a 130 mAh battery should last about 4 days, depending on how many notifications you receive and how often you use other functions. It takes 2 hours to fully charge. Speaking of notifications, the watch will display incoming text messages from SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook. It will also notify you of an incoming call (but without a microphone or speaker).
StylFit GSW7’s dust and water resistance rating is IP67, which should protect it from accidental contact with water, but not enough to swim with it. The watch can track the following sports: walking, running, cycling, skipping rope, playing basketball, playing badminton, and playing football.
In terms of connectivity, this watch only has Bluetooth 4.0 for talking with your mobile phone. There is no GPS on board, so if you want to track running and cycling more accurately, it must borrow the GPS in your phone.
Gionee StylFit GSW7 will go on sale in India at 12 noon on June 13.You can Karting The price is 4,000 Indian rupees (55 USD/45 Euro). You can choose Teal Green, Mimi Pink or Matte Black.
