Facebook Payouts and Monetization|Facebook Business

Facebook Payout Hub is where you can update banking and tax information on behalf of a Page. The Hub is only visible if you’re the Financial Admin.

The Portal is split into 4 sections, where you can view the following:

Facebook Payouts

When you got paid and the breakdown of earnings per payout source, such as your Page, app, contract or group. If a payout has failed, you will need to update your bank account information in order to be paid in the next eligible cycle.

Facebook Monetization ( Earning)

What you earned per month and earnings yet to be paid.
Settings: Update your bank information, add or remove Financial Admins. Please note: changing payment information may delay when you get paid.
Payout Sources: All payout source associated with your payment account.
When you’ll be paid
Nonprofits and game developers will be paid twice a month around 1st and the 15th
Audience Network and Ad breaks around the 21st of every month
Facebook Stars and Fan Subscriptions around the 5th of every month

Set up and manage your Facebook Payouts


Using in-stream ads or fan subscriptions? Make sure that you receive your earnings by completing all the payout account fields! Learn what information is required and how to update your info and settings from the Payout settings section in Creator Studio.

Eligibility


Only Pages that are eligible for in-stream ads or fan subscriptions can set up a payout account. Only Pages that already have a payout account can access payout settings in Creator Studio.

Even if a Page you manage is already using one of our monetisation products, certain information is only available to that Page’s payout admin.

Set up your Facebook Payout account


Once your Page is approved for one of our monetization products, we prompt you (as the Page’s admin) to set up a payout account. To make sure that you get paid the money you earn, we need you to provide the following information:

Payout Setup Account Checklist


You must provide your taxpayer information, based on your country of residence and business type.
If you select the United States as your country of residence and identify yourself as an Individual, you’re asked to enter your SSN. If you select the US and identify yourself as a non-individual business type, you’re asked to enter your EIN.
If you select a country of residence outside the US, you’re asked to enter your applicable foreign tax ID.

Receiving Facebook Payout Through Bank Or Paypal


To link a bank account, you’ll need to verify the bank’s country, the routing number/sort code, the account number and the account holder’s name. To link a Paypal account, you’ll need the account’s country, associated email address and the account holder’s first and last name.

Tax Form

United States: By law, Facebook is required to collect tax information if you are a US individual or entity receiving payments from Facebook, Inc. You will be prompted to complete and upload your Form W-9, which can be downloaded from the IRS website.
Canada and Brazil: By law, Facebook is required to collect tax information if you are either a Canadian or Brazilian individual or entity receiving payments from Facebook, Inc. You will be prompted to complete and upload your applicable Form W-8, which can be downloaded from the IRS website.

Account Setting

Get an overview of your Page’s payout activity during a date range you specify from the Transaction history tab. Here, you can see the status of your transactions and the payout amount.

You can download your invoices and remittance statements from the Statements tab. Bear in mind that these are also emailed to the Page’s finance admins every month.

Invoices


Invoices include all earnings linked to this account within the specified date range.

Remittances


Remittances include all money paid out to this account within the specified date range.

Edit your payout methods, update your tax information, change the account owner and add or remove payout account admins from the Account settings tab.

Facebook Payout methods


Select Edit to change the bank or PayPal account that your Page is linked to. You’ll be asked to either log in to your PayPal account or provide information about the new bank account.

Tax information

Select Update to upload a new W-9 form.

Account owner

Select Edit to change who is designated as the owner of the account

Account admins
Add or remove admins for your payout account. Admins are able to edit and manage account information.

Statements
You can download your invoices and remittance statements from the Statements tab. Bear in mind that these are also emailed to the Page’s finance admins every month.
